Q: How do I choose the right photographer?
A: Find a photographer whose style and budget best meets your needs.

Q: What is your photography style?
A: Antique Honey is a natural light boutique photography studio. Overall, our approach is journalistic. We watch your story unfold and capture all its details: the quiet moments, stunning details, unique personalities, and the couple, of course. We won’t run your wedding or ruin it with long set-ups or stiff poses. Above all, we never harass your guests with posed table shots. We get the classic shots you seek in a modern vintage way.

Q: What is "Boutique Photography?"
A: Antique Honey serves our clients with an artisan wedding photographer and prides itself in producing artwork that will be appreciated for generations to come. Our images are hand processed & we take care of all post processing & album design {yes, we do all of the graphic design work as well}. We feel it is of utmost importance to offer undivided attention to our clients from the moment they inquire until they are delivered their beautiful albums and prints.

Q: How much coverage do I need?
A: That's entirely up to you. The amount you need depends on your schedule and the events of the day. We recommend a minimum of 8 hours of coverage to ensure that we capture the flow of the day in true photojournalistic style.

Q: Will I need more than one Photographer?
A: We highly recommend a 2nd photographer if you have 150 guests or more. The nature of weddings is celebratory and often spontaneous, and truly memorable events happen simultaneously at different locations. The 2nd photographer offers not only another perspective, but more comprehensive coverage. Antique Honey works closely with a select group of Antique Honey trained photographers. They meet our quality standards and offer an understanding to Antique Honeys style. Certain packages come with coverage of 2 photographers. These packages are highly reccomended.

Q: What type of Albums do you offer?
A: We use Leather custom bookbinding. You can choose from an array of stylish fine art albums and designs. Our in-house designer will guide you through your custom design process.Samples are usually available, but sometimes will be mailed out for destination samples. Please call to set up an appointment.

Q: How much time should I budget for the wedding day portraits?
A: This is a question with many variables. We truly believe in capturing the love story of your wedding day. In order to do this, we need evidence & material to work with. Sometimes weddings are so monumental, with distant friends & guests gathering together, that it can be difficult to have a moment with your love alone. We strongly recommend setting aside time for portraits, whether before or after the ceremony, when you can be photographed privately. Antique Honey stages a “first sight” for couples who have chosen to see each other before the ceremony. This allows Antique Honey to capture the surprise, awe and emotion – intimately. If you set aside an hour to be photographed together, you will not regret it! Some couples also choose to have sessions after their wedding for relaxed portraits. This is a great way to give you more time on your wedding day for enjoying friends & family.

Q: How do we book you?
A: Please use our Bookings page for our contact information. We will work with you to customize a package that meets your needs. Once you have made your decision, a retainer or deposit is required to secure the date. Additional details you provide will help us determine if we are a good fit. Antique Honey loves to meet with local couples or have a Skype chat with destination couples. We can discuss all your plans & I can help you formulate a timeline. Then I just need a signed contract & retainer of 50% of your total wedding cost. The remainder is due four weeks before the wedding.

Q: Do you cover destination Weddings?
A: Yes! Antique Honey loves destination weddings. We work with different hotels, halls, locations, musicians and other various vendors in different locations. We can provide you with some great references as well as covering your wedding in whatever beautiful location you have chosen.

Q: Do you photograph other events?
A: Yes we do. Antique Honey covers bar/bat mitzvahs, rehearsal dinners, engagement photos, children’s portraiture and any other large event or party, personal or for business. Please contact the studio for rates.

Q: Do you have any discounts or specials?
A: Antique Honey packages are bundled and on average save you about 20% off the a la carte cost. I give a complimentary military discount of 10% for Brides or Grooms who actively serve our country.

Q: Will we meet with you before the wedding?
A: Absolutely. Please call our office and schedule an appointment. If you are not able to come to New York, we are available via conference call or Skype and will arrange all the details for you.

Q: You were the photographer for my wedding, and now I would like to refer you to a friend. Do you have an incentive program?
A: Glad you asked! We offer referal incentives of cash as well as Antique Honey prints and products to our prior customers. This enables past customers to also recieve gift cards that may be used in our print shoppe to order more of their favorite wedding photos. Please call or email our office for more information.

*All dates are booked on a first come first serve basis upon receiving the retainer fee and the contract. Retainer fee/deposits are required for weddings to reserve your date. Retainers are 50% of the total package value and are needed to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due 4 weeks prior to the date of your wedding. All in state sales are subject to NYS sales tax.

All retainer fee/deposits are non-refundable. All sales are final.
